    Generator Torque

    • Both the generator's upper mounting and pivot bolt carry a torque of 30 ft-lb. The generator's engine mounting bolt has a torque of 18 ft-lb. The generator's ground terminal nut and wiring harness holddown have torques of 75 in-lb.

    Transfer Case Torque

    • The 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 has a transfer case model NV231HD. This particular transfer case has a maximum input torque of 1,940 ft-lb.

    Electrical System Torque
