• 1). Click "Shop" from the Nook Color's quick navigation bar. You will be directed to the Nook store.
  
  
• 2). Browse for and locate the ebook you wish to download. Double click the ebook's cover or title for more information and to start the purchase process.
  
  
• 3). Tap the green button showing the ebook's price then click "Confirm" to proceed with your purchase. Depending on how you have set up your Barnes and Noble account, you may need to enter your password. If prompted, enter your password and click "Buy." The ebook will be downloaded to your Nook Color and appear in both your Daily Shelf and Library.
  
  

Download from Computer

• 1). Download and save the ebook to your computer. You can find compatible ebooks for the Nook Color from the Barnes and Noble website, as well as sites like Google Books. The Nook Color will accept ebooks as long as they are in PDF or the Epub digital format.
  
  
• 2). Connect your Nook Color to your computer with the supplied microUSB cable. A new drive called "MyNook Color" will appear on your desktop.
  
  
• 3). Drag and drop the ebook from your computer to the Nook Color drive.
  
  
• 4). Open the Nook Color drive to view the folders inside. Move the ebook to the "Books" folder.
  
  
• 5). Eject the Nook Color drive and disconnect the device from the computer. The new ebook will appear in your Daily Shelf and Library.
