- 1). Dry the cat urine from the wood as soon as you notice the urine. Blot the wood with paper towels or a cloth. Do not rub the wood, however, as you may scratch the wood or rub the urine stain into the wood.
- 2). Pour roughly 1 cup of white distilled vinegar and 2 cups of warm water into a clean spray bottle. You can adjust these amounts, depending on the amount of cat urine on the wood.
- 3). Spray the water and vinegar solution on the wood covering the entire stain.
- 4). Leave the water and vinegar on the wood for about five minutes.
- 5). Place a wash cloth or other cloth onto the wood. Then, place a book or similar heavy object onto the cloth so that the cloth absorbs the vinegar solution. Leave the cloth on the wood for about an hour.
- 6). Remove the cloth from the wood. Inspect the wood and repeat the cleaning process, if necessary.
