- 1). Click on the "Start" button.
- 2). Select the icon that reads "Control Panel."
- 3). Double click on the icon that reads "Keyboard."
- 4). Click on the "Buttons" tab.
- 5). Double click on the keyboard button that you want to reassign to open your email program.
- 6). Choose "Simple Local File With Label" from the drop down menu.
- 7). Type in the address of your email service provider or the location on your computer where your email program is located (in the event that you use a program like Microsoft Outlook) into the "Address" box.
- 8). Click the "OK" button to save your changes. Now, whenever you strike that key on your keyboard it will take you right to your email address.
