Determine the function and purpose of your pool bar.resort pool bar with surrounding image by Natalia Guseva from Fotolia.com
Decide the shape and structure of your pool bar. Most pool bars have access from the water itself for convenience and from the pool deck to serve more guests. Both sides have bar stools, even in the water, with space between each to allow guests to swim up on their favorite pool floats. As for the roofing, pool bars you find in beachside resorts usually resemble a beach hut, with their roof appearing thatched with bamboo while maintaining a sturdy structure. - 2
Make your sketch as accurate as possible.swimming pool hotel image by Nicky Jacobs from Fotolia.com
Take the sketchbook and pencil, and draw a basic sketch of the pool, along with its surroundings. Consider the size of your outdoor area and the prospective size of the pool bar. Decide on the location of the pool bar and draw that into your sketch. Sketch and color with the colored pencils the counter, bar stools, storage areas for glasses and beverages, and sink, among other features. - 3
Let your materials support the bar's theme.parasol, bar image by yam from Fotolia.com
Choose the high-quality materials you want to use in your pool bar. Materials for the underwater base include stone tiles or concrete, with bar stools made of matching material. Some pool bar owners also include both materials. For pool bar roofing, builders use wood and bamboo to create either a solid wood roof or a thatched roof. Whichever materials you choose, be sure they can withstand wind, rain and animals. The pool bar's material should also be sturdy enough to hold necessary appliances. - 4
Provide a menu with scrumptuous, thirst-quenching beverages.A luxury orange cocktail at the swimming-pool image by Ivonne Wierink from Fotolia.com
Create a beverage menu, or several. The capacity of the pool bar should accommodate your entire menu. Your preferences may change throughout the day, in addition to your use of the pool bar, so design a menu that will cater to those timelessly favorite beverages while also making room for trendy, spontaneous cravings. Your menu may also change according to your family and guests. For example, if you have children, include nonalcoholic options on your menu. Write your entire menu on your sketch. - 5
Light up the night sky with a funky bar sign.arrow shaped bar sign image by MAXFX from Fotolia.com
Select decorations you will use with hints from paradise, and add them to your sketch. Depending on the theme of your oasis, add objects that will enhance your theme. If your bar area has a no-splash zone, add some floating candles and holders for added calmness and a sexy blend of fire and water. Add lantern lights around the roof of the pool bar for a pop of color by day and romance by night. Display a large, versatile sign showing your daily drink specials. If you are catering to a party crowd at night, add what innovators call a floating disco ball to produce an underwater light show.
