- 1). Check the water level. Low water in the spa can restrict movement through the spa's jet system.
- 2). Clean the filter and other water suction points. This also restricts water flow.
- 3). Open air valves to maximize airflow. The valves --- located beneath the skirting that surrounds the exterior of the spa --- needs to be fully opened to maximize airflow.
- 1). Check the filter for debris or build-up, and clean and replace it.
- 2). Check the water level and add water if necessary. Poor water flow will result in low water temperatures.
- 3). Turn off the power to the spa for 30 seconds. This can correct minor issues with the pressure switch and temperature system.
- 1). Increase the temperature to the spa. Find the "Temp Up" button to increase the water temperature.
- 2). Align the spa cover properly when not using the spa. This ensures the spa maintains maximum heat in the unit.
- 3). Check the filter for debris, and clean the filter every four to six weeks, depending on how frequently you use the spa, to improve water flow and water heating.
- 4). Turn off the Summer Timer. This timer reduces the spa's heat; keeping it on will create lower water temperatures.
