- 1). Turn on your phone and navigate to the SMS message settings. The location and logistics of getting to the messages menu will be different depending on your phone model and manufacturer, so if you are unsure, then check the phone's manual for instructions.
- 2). Find an option along the lines of "Sent Notification" or "Received Confirmation" and enter the options for it.
- 3). Choose to turn this option off and then confirm your change. Next time you send an SMS message your phone will not request a message to confirm that it has been sent.
