People resort to all kinds of things in order to lose weight, and multi-billion dollar firms profit exorbitantly from the intense desire people have to lose weight and keep it off.
That is why you see so many advertisements for pills that make claims of helping one shed dozens of pounds with "no change in lifestyle.
" And while some of these pills do work to some extent, they don't work for everyone and they don't work forever.
Your body will eventually adjust to something unnatural, and go into survival mode.
This mode of living is what your body does when it feels it is not getting enough energy; it holds onto everything that it can, and losing weight becomes almost impossible.
Unfortunately, this is what the diet industry wants.
They LOVE the cycle of dieting, failing, and then trying something else.
It means they get to produce more products, sell more stuff, and maintain continual, steady profits.
Their luck is also compounded by the fact that mainstream food options keep getting worse and worse, with high amounts of either fat, sugar, sodium, chemicals, or all of them.
People then need something to balance at out, so they turn to dieting aids.
And like I said, while they may work for a small bit, they will not continue to do so forever.
The only way to lose weight permanently, and in the most healthy way possible, is to commit to a lifestyle change.
The term "lifestyle change" scares a lot of people, because they think that everything they love about life will have to be replaced in order to get healthy.
In reality, by changing the way you look at the situation and seeing the benefits of change, you can quickly realize how much better things will be by living a more natural lifestyle.
As for exactly what kind of lifestyle change you need, you probably already know it has something to do with diet and exercise.
I don't like those terms; I prefer nutrition and activity.
As long as you are eating nutritious foods, staying away from dead food, and being an active person, then you will be healthy.
And that doesn't mean you can't have a little something to help you along the way, such as a natural herbal supplement.
Living well means you have a better, more epic life.
A life where you are more engaged in every single moment, one where you can truly enjoy the experiences we were all meant to enjoy.
