Things You'll Need
Instructions
1Substitute Cheerios in recipes you already have that require other types of cereal. Use the same amount required in those recipes. For example, make Cheerios treats using the Rice Krispie Treat recipe. Instead of using 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal, use 6 cups of Cheerios (see Resources).
2
Grind or crush Cheerios into a flour and substitute it for a portion of the white flour in any recipe. Examples of recipes include cookies, muffins, quick breads, or cakes (see Resources).
3
Use crushed Cheerios instead of crushed corn flakes to make oven-baked crispy breaded chicken or chicken parmesan (see Resources).
4
Thread Cheerios onto a string to make edible necklaces, bracelets or Christmas tree garland.
