When Marbles was about three years old, he lived with two other cats and a couple who were expecting their second child. For some unknown reason, they decided they had to dispose of their three cats. Word got back to Sue Lynn and she visited the couple, interested in adopting one of the cats. Now, Marbles is a pretty smart cat and he immediately jumped on her lap and settled in as if he belonged there.

He is now fourteen years old and a solid part of Sue's family, talking to her every day when she comes home from work, in the inimitable way cats have of talking to us.
