- 1). Brush your hair to remove tangles. Pull your hair loosely away from your face in preparation for the headband.
- 2). Find the center of the scarf and place it on top of your head at the point where you want the headband.
- 3). Pull the ends of the scarf down past the back of your ears and around your hair. Meet the ends of the scarf at the nape of your neck under your hair.
- 4). Tie the ends of the scarf into a knot at the nape of your neck.
- 5). Keep the knot under your hair or slide the knot to either side (just behind an ear).
- 1). Brush your hair to remove all tangles.
- 2). Pull your hair back into a tight or a loose ponytail at the back of your head. Make the ponytail high on your crown, in the middle of the back of your head or at the nape of your neck. Smooth your hair into the ponytail or allow loose tendrils and wisps of hair to escape the ponytail.
- 3). Spritz your hair with hairspray to set the style.
- 4). Tie the scarf around the ponytail in a knot and allow the tails to trail down. Alternatively, tie the scarf around your head as a headband and then tie the tails of the scarf around a ponytail at the nape of your neck.
