How to Wire Two 12 Ohm Subwoofers

    • 1). Disconnect the power from the amplifier.

    • 2). Connect speaker wire to the positive terminal of the first subwoofer. Connect this wire to the first positive "Speaker Out" terminal on the amplifier. Connect speaker wire to the negative terminal of the first subwoofer. Connect this wire to the first negative "Speaker Out" terminal on the amplifier. Select a speaker gauge based on the recommendations indicated in the manual of the subwoofer.

    • 3). Connect speaker wire to the positive terminal of the second subwoofer. Connect this wire to the second positive "Speaker Out" terminal on the amplifier. Connect speaker wire to the negative terminal of the second subwoofer. Connect this wire to the second negative "Speaker Out" terminal on the amplifier.

    • 4). Restore power to the amplifier and turn on the car. Test out the speakers.
