Camille arrive à la gare Montparnasse. Elle suit les panneaux “départ grandes-lignes”, prend les escalators, et pousse sa valise à roulette à travers les grands halls de la gare. Elle arrive dans un hall géant avec plein de voyageurs qui marchent dans toutes les directions, des panneaux partout, des boutiques, et au fond, des trains. Beaucoup de passagers sont rassemblés autour d’un immense panneau d’affichage qui annonce les voies des trains au départ de Paris.


Camille arrives at the Montparnasse station. She follows the signs for the long distance departures, takes the escalators, and pushes her rolling suitcase through the big halls of the station. She reaches a giant hall with many travelers who are walking in every directions, boards everywhere, shops, and at the end, trains. Many passengers are gathered around a huge information board announcing the tracks for the trains departing from Paris.

Camille attend. La voie du train d’avant le sien s’affiche, suivie d’une annonce sonore, et la moitié des personnes autour d’elle se précipitent vers la voie numéro 5. Elle attend encore... son train part dans 10 minutes, et elle est un peu inquiète. La voie du train d’après s’affiche, et encore une vague de passagers quitte le groupe. Et son train alors ? Qu’est-ce qui se passe ?

Camille waits. The track of the train before hers appears, followed by an audio announcement, and half the people around her rushes towards the track number 5. She waits some more... her train leaves in 10 minutes and she is a bit worried. The track of the following train appears, and yet another wave of passengers leaves the group. What about her train? What’s going on?
