- 1). Measure and cut a 3-inch square of cardboard. Wrap a piece of yarn around the square 100 times. Measure and cut a 6-inch piece of yarn. Slide the piece of yarn under the layers of the wrapped yarn at the top edge of the cardboard. Tie the strand of yarn around the wrapped yarn. Snip the wrapped yarn at the bottom edge of the cardboard.
- 2). Cut one cup from an egg carton with a craft knife. Place the cup upside down on your work surface. Put a dot of low-temperature hot glue on the top of the cup and some lines of glue down the sides. Put the bundle of yarn strands on top of the cup, placing the middle, where the tie is, in the dot of hot glue. Arrange the strands of yarn around the cup to completely cover it.
- 3). Use hot glue to attach craft eyes to the front of the yarn bug. Attach foam feat to the bottom of the yarn bug with hot glue as well.
