For every person out there that is looking for a legit way to make money online there is a scam waiting to take advantage of one of these people.
You shouldn't be to discouraged because there are honest ways to make money online.
It is not uncommon for you or someone you know to become an innocent victim of some low life online money making scam.
There are ways that you can avoid being one of these victims and this is what this article is all about.
You need to know that there are thousands if not millions of money making scams out there that are ripping people off as you read this.
These scammers are individuals who promise fake dreams to those who are desperate for a real opportunity to make money online.
These scammers hide behind there misleading websites and phony email addresses.
One of my first pieces of advice that I want to give you when it comes to spotting a scam is to use common sense when viewing any type of money making opportunity.
If it sounds absolutely to good to be true it probably is.
You need to look at some of the claims that are being made on this opportunity and then ask yourself exactly how are you going to make the money that is claimed to be made and does that sound possible to do? Now don't get me wrong but, there are people out there that are making thousands of dollars on the internet but they are doing it by using legitimate methods such as affiliate marketing, domain flipping, blogging, selling digital products, etc...
If it becomes to difficult to understand how you are going to make money with the program you may want to move on.
Another thing to look for when looking at a money making opportunity is a contact phone number or email address.
If they do not have one of these you should definitely move on.
If they do have one or both of these things I recommend that you try to contact who ever is behind the program.
If you can not reach anyone or if you do and they come off scammish keep it moving.
My last piece of advice when trying to spot a scam is to really investigate.
There is a site called "The Rip Off Report" where you can find a lot of the well known scams on.
You can easily search for the money making opportunity that you are looking at to see if there are any scam claims.
Now you can't believe everything you read on this site but it may shed some light on some things.
You can also contact the FTC which will let you know if the opportunity that you are looking at potentially a scam.
There are real ways to make money online but you should be aware of the scams.
