- 1). Download and install the DVD-converting application from the Freemake site (see Resources.) Click the "Start" menu and "Freemake Video Converter" to open the program.
- 2). Click the "Video" button to search for the video files you want to convert to PAL. Double-click the files to add them to the Freemake converter. Click "To DVD" at the bottom of the screen.
- 3). Insert a blank DVD. Click the highlighted "NTSC" text at the bottom of the window. Click "PAL 720x576 25 fps" Click "Burn."
- 1). Download and install the software converter from Koyote Soft (see Resources). Click "Start" and "Free Video Converter" to launch the program.
- 2). Click the "Add Files" button in the top-left corner of the window. Search for the video you want to convert, and double-click the files to add them to the conversion list.
- 3). Click "Output Format" at the bottom of the screen. Click "DVD PAL Format" in the selection window, and click "Convert Video" to encode and save the file.
- 4). Insert a blank disc. Run your disc-burning software, and click "Video DVD." Drag your PAL DVD file from your desktop to the disc-burning program, and click "Burn."
- 1). Download and install the free DVD ripper from Free Star (see Resources). Click "Start" and "Free Star" to launch the software.
- 2). Insert your source DVD. Click "Open DVD," and double-click your "D:" drive to load your disc in the program. Click the "Profile" menu, and choose "PAL DVD mpeg2." Click "Browse," and choose a hard drive folder where you want to save your PAL video.
- 3). Run your disc-burning program. Insert a blank disc, and drag your PAL file from your desktop folder to the DVD contents list of your disc-burning software. Click "Burn."
