- 1). Protect your skin from the suns harmful UV rays. Especially on your hands, as this is the most common place to develop sun spots. Most people forget to apply sun block to the tops of their hands before they leave the house. Even if it is an overcast day out, the suns UV rays can still cause damage to your skin. Apply a sun block with an SPF of 30 or higher whenever you leave the house.
- 2). Apply an age spot cream high in hydroxy acids to your skin daily. These powerful creams have been proven to reduce the appearance and remove age spots and wrinkles over time. Make sure to follow the specified directions.
- 3). Consider getting a chemical peel. Although chemical peels are extremely harsh on your skin, they are a sure fire way to remove age spots from your skin fast. The chemicals damage your skin so new skin is forced to regrow. Make sure to consult a dermatologist before getting any procedure done.
