- Place 12 mint leaves in the bottom of a glass. Add 1.25 oz. light rum, 1 tbsp. sugar and 1/2 oz. lime juice. Muddle the ingredients together. Add 2 oz. soda water and garnish with a mint leaf. This recipe makes one serving. Serve along with spicy foods such as tacos.
- Mix together 1 1/2 oz. light rum, 1/2 oz. apple juice, 1/2 oz. lime juice, 1/2 tsp. sugar in a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake ingredients and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of apple for one serving. Enjoy this drink with a crisp fruit salad.
