- 1). Pick up the handset and wait a moment until you hear a dial tone. If you're using a cordless phone, press the "Talk" button before listening for a dial tone.
- 2). Type "*60" into the keypad and wait for the automated voice to pick up. If you're using a rotary phone, dial "1160" instead.
- 3). Dial "0," to hear an automated menu which will tell you how to add a phone number to your Call Block list. From this menu, you can also review the phone numbers that you've added to your list, as well as take numbers off of the list.
- 4). Enter the telephone number that you want to block when prompted by the automated voice menu system.
- 5). Follow the automated instructions to confirm and save your blocked number. That blocked phone number will no longer be able to connect to your phone.
