Georgia is known for its scenic views and natural wildlife. ATVs, also known as All Terrain Vehicles, are a popular motor-sports activity in the state and there are several ATV trails in Talbot County. Most locations also allow dirt bikes and other motocross vehicles. Hours and availability vary by locations; be sure to check the schedule in advance. - The Mudders Mag Offroad Park, formerly Dirty Dog ATV course, is an extensive offroad and ATV course in Columbus, which is open for riding each weekend and selected weekdays. Mudders has several courses, separated by level of difficulty, with numerous jumps and ramps. There is also a special 4x4 only course that has numerous mud pits. Mudders also routinely hosts special events monthly. There is a small admission for riders and pads and helmets are required at all times.

muddersmagoffroadpark.com - Sprewell Bluff State Park is a large park and recreation area in central Talbot County that covers more than 1,300 acres and has several ATV trails available for use. The trails at the park run through flat forested areas and stretch for several miles. There is a basic admission cost to enter the park and ATV trailers are required to play an additional fee. Other activities at the park include swimming, fishing and canoeing. There are also several hiking and biking-only trails located throughout the park.

Roosevelt State Park is a park and recreation area in Talbot County covering more than 9,000 acres and has several ATV trails for recreational use through the summer, spring, and fall months of the year. There is a lengthly forested course as well as a hill and mountain course that includes several jumps and ramps. Other activities at F.D. Roosevelt include visiting the Little White House Historic Site as well as camping, swimming fishing, and boating. ATVs require a small fee to enter in addition to regular park fees.
