- 1). Press the large central button on your Xbox 360 controller. This is called the "Guide" button and is the circular button that lights up on the center of your controller. Press and hold it until the Xbox menu pops up on the screen.
- 2). Scroll to the right to select the "Settings" menu. Select "Preferences," then "Notifications."
- 3). Uncheck "Show During Videos" box under "Show Notifications."
