White Beach Located on the western coast of Boracay, White Beach stretches for some four kilometres and is famed for its powdery white sand.
This is the perfect place to practice water sports such as scuba diving and snorkelling, while those who simply want to lay back on the sand and soak up the sun will also be in their element here.
A number of leading Boracay resorts can be found here, as well as excellent restaurants and plenty of shops.
Mount Luho The highest point on Boracay, climbing to the top of Mount Luho offers stunning views of the entire island.
The entire island is spread out beneath visitors from the very top and there are a couple of specially built viewing stations here.
The main access point to Mount Luho is from Bolabog Beach and visitors can either climb up the road on foot or hire a bicycle and use pedal power to reach the top.
Balinghai Beach Offering a wide range of excellent Boracay hotels, Bailinghai Beach can be found on the northern tip of the island.
This is an excellent pace to watch the sunset, while during the day people gather here to work on the perfect tan and cool down once in a while by swimming in the sea.
Visitors will also find a reasonable number of shops and restaurants here, meaning that visitors never have to wander far from the powdery sand.
The Dead Forest This spooky attraction can be found close to Bulabog Beach and can be reached by following a winding path through the trees.
Formed when a dam separating the seawater from the forest buckled, local people believe that the forest comes to life with supernatural beings during nights when the moon is full.
Puka Beach Also known as Puka Shell Beach and Yupak Beach, this tranquil haven can be found along the northern tip of Boracay.
The beauty of this beach is that while other beaches may be crowded, especially during the peak tourist season, Puka Beach is virtually deserted all year road.
However, there are still plenty of amenities here, such as excellent restaurants, while the water is ideal for swimming in and this is a good place to watch the sun set at the end of the day.
The Bat Caves An unmissable attraction for those who want to explore Boracay, the Bat Caves are located on the eastern coast of the island.
As the name suggests, the Bat Caves are inhabited by a large group of fruit bats and are best reached by guided tours from one of the island's main resorts such as White Beach.
The caves also feature a cool collection of stalactites and stalagmites.
Butterfly Garden A popular attraction with nature lovers, the Butterfly Garden was originally was opened to the public in 2005.
Started as a hobby by Patrick Manion and his Filpino wife Adela Jaudian, the garden quickly attracted the attention of visitors and was granted a Wildlife and Collector's Permit by the DENR/PAWB and breeds butterflies, as well as containing a collection of rare trees and plants.
