The American Voter always likes the underdog and indeed, this time around the underdogs seems to be gaining momentum.
On the Democrat Side there is famous Barack Obama, who now has the support of Oprah Winfrey, which is a huge bonus for his campaign.
And on the GOP side of things Mike Huckabee is ahead in Iowa and gaining momentum.
Also there is Ron Paul who set a record in raising 4.
5 million dollars in one day.
Some have asked how this is possible with these underdogs? Everyone knows that Hilary Clinton will most likely take the Democrat Nomination, even though Barack Obama is the boy wonder, with great numbers.
Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee, are the last people that anyone expected to come from behind, but they seems to have a following.
Ron Paul does not look so good on TV and has upset most Republicans, but he has a big base of support from those straddling the line between Democrat and Republicans.
Still, it is a known fact that TV Advertising works and those with the most cash have the greatest chances of winning the election.
But lets not count out the incredible benefits of grass roots marketing when it comes to precinct level marketing, that is where the game is won in close elections.
With both parties looking for answers and everyone trying to pander to the masses, it is still up in the air.
And that's American Politics for you folks.
