- 1). Locate a company that prints political signs on the Internet. Capitol Promotions, PoliticalLawSigns.com, politicalsigns.com, CampaignPros.com, and Victorystore.com are companies that allow you to create political signs over the Internet.
- 2). Design your political sign. You can design your sign using image creation software such as Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, or Pixelmator. Contact the company that will print your signs to see if there is a preferred program and file type that you must use. Some companies also have templates that are available for your use through their websites. If you are having difficulty, you can contact an advertising company or the printing company for assistance in designing your sign.
- 3). Select a sign material. Political signs are usually made out of such materials as corrugated plastic, polyethylene bags, flat plastic, cardboard, or plastic-coated poster board. Choose a material that will not be adversely affected by the weather, such as the corrugated plastic sign.
