Braylon Edwards is a playmaker with tremendous athleticism and the ability to be a dominating force in the NFL. He is physical enough to be used across the middle and has the speed to be a deep threat on the outside. He has tremendous body control and catches the ball well away from his body. He also possess big hands, and has the ability to make the spectacular catches, but drops plagued him much of his college career.


He did make strides in that area as a senior, however.

Edwards is probably the most complete receiver in the draft. He catches the ball well in traffic, adjusts well to the ball while it's in the air, and has the leaping ability to consistently bring down jump balls. He runs good, crisp routes and has the burst out of his breaks to separate from defenders.

His blocking leaves a little to be desired, and he will need to work on his technique and maintaining a consistent effort in the NFL.

Overall, Braylon Edwards is undoubtedly one of the top-two receivers in this year's draft and will most likely be a top-five pick in April.

College Stats:

In four years at Michigan, Edwards racked up 252 catches for 3,541 yards for 39 touchdowns.

During his senior campaign when he really exploded to the forefront as a playmaker, he caught 97 passes for 1,330 yards and 15 touchdowns.
