How to Take Apart a Rainbow E Series

    • 1). Power off your vacuum, and unplug its power cable from the nearest wall receptacle.

    • 2). Remove the current suction attachment that is currently connected to the vacuum hose. This includes a top-curved wand, bottom-curved wand, dusting tool and straight or standard wand. A single button secures the attachment in place. Press the button, and pull the attachment from the hose.

    • 3). Press in on the latches on either side of the hose where it meets the body of the vacuum. Remove the entire hose assembly from the vacuum.

    • 4). Release the latches on each side of the power supply on the body of the vacuum. Lift the power unit out of the vacuum, and loosen the brass nut on the power unit. Remove the power unit from the vacuum.

    • 5). Grasp the water basin that sits inside the bottom section of the vacuum. Lift the basin out of the vacuum, and dump any excess water down the drain in your sink or bathtub.
