Celebrity diet plans can take many forms. In the last decade many well-known women have relied on popular plans like South Beach, low-carbohydrate, macrobiotic, vegetarian, and many other diet programs to get or maintain beautiful bodies. Still others have stopped planning their own meals altogether, relying instead on companies that deliver small, well-balanced and nutritious dishes to their doorsteps several times a day. And still others incorporate strenuous exercise, natural supplements and pills that promise weight loss (or a combination thereof) to shape their spectacular bodies.

Finally, some famous females have been proud to detail their weight loss journeys in front of the world. For instance, stars like Valerie Bertinelli, Phylicia Rashad, Kirstie Alley and Marie Osmond have lost dramatic amounts of weight by pairing regular exercise with the popular Jenny Craig system, thereby adding this well-known diet program to the list of celebrity diet plans to which "regular" women have easy access. Additionally, sports superstars Dan Marino, Don Shula and Scott Conover have all sung the praises of the popular Nutrisystem program.
