Many show interest in foreign cars with a want to show their status symbol. But they have to finally end up paying lot of amount for exchange charges when ever they have to import the spare parts from states where they have purchased the car. Some may import the car from China, Japan and some from US. The custom charges also will be more apart from the registration that you have to bear for the local transportation by that vehicle.

Also not many insurers will be ready to insure the foreign cars. You cannot escape from very companies who insure car at very extremely high charges. Hence it is always better to purchase a local car and be safe in terms of insurance policies.
