Swine flu -Ways to prevent it

The best way to prevent it is to stay healthy in the first place. You have to keep your immune system healthy by eating right, taking supplements to help with deficiencies due to your diet, exercising daily if possible, get a little sun every day if you can, and get enough sleep to fight off any illness.Let's start by eating right. Give up a little of the junk food and substitute it with fruit and vegetables. They are anti-aging whereas junk food isn't healthy at all and it just adds pounds to the body that are hard to get rid of.Always eat a breakfast that is good for you instead of eating a bagel, muffin or donut. You should be eating cereal, eggs, or oatmeal. Lunch should be a healthy meal too. Eat a sandwich or salad instead of a burger and fries. Very fattening!Have a good sit down dinner with the family. A piece of meat, potato with just a little butter or sour cream, and a vegetable should be sufficient. Eating salmon, mackerel and hardings, egg yolks, should be a weapon used to fight off this terrible virus. If you don't eat properly then you should supplement. Even if you do eat well balanced meals you should take supplements to help with vitamins and minerals you're missing. Vitamin D3 should be taken especially during this flu season. Taking 2000iu-5000iu daily is suggested. You should check with your doctor first.Sunshine supplies natural vitamin D3 . DO not use sunscreen because you will not get the benefit. Ten to fifteen minutes at least two times a week will be enough. Hopefully you live in a state that is sunny most of the year.Exercise is good for your heart, brain, joints and every part of your body. Twenty to thirty minutes daily is best but if you don't have the time or energy just even ten minutes a day will help. Just using the stairs instead of the elevator will give you some exercise. Walking helps. Parking away from your office will make you walk more.Sleep is important because it helps repair our bodies. We need 7-8 hours a night. We need to go to bed around the same time each night and wake up around the same time each morning. Going to bed late and sleeping in will affect our biological clocks and this isn't good for our brains or bodies. If you follow these suggestions your body will be at it's peak performance and will resist any flu that comes your way.
