If you are not a gardener you might be running into some trouble when you try to maintain the beauty of your home garden.
Plant care for non-gardeners, though, is a rather simple concept to it; though, of course, you will have to be aware of the specific ideas which bind themselves to this particular concept.
If you would like to give plant care a shot, here is an easy guide for the relatively inexperienced.
The best initial step for you, who is the beginner here, is to go out into the middle part of your garden.
Slowly survey your garden by making a full turn with your body.
You can go counter clockwise or clockwise.
Do the turn a second time but with your second turn, visually segregate your garden plants into their different types.
Take notice of which plants are shrubs, which are the taller ones and which are the tall ones with many leaves.
Also take notice of which plants have woody stalks and which do not.
When you have made a survey of the different plants which your garden has you are now ready to tend to your plants, for the day.
Use a pair of garden scissors or a large pair of garden shears to trim off the tops of your tall, leafy plants which have woody or non-woody stalks.
Use a tape measure or a ruler to determine the height of plant growth that you are to trim.
Do the same thing for your plants which are not as tall as the others.
Sweep stray flower petals petals and flower blossoms which have fallen from plants which have flowers unto your grassy lawn or unto the ground.
When the ground is clear off these, turn your lawn sprinkler on to water your garden, or use a garden hose for this task.
Then, pull out the weeds from amongst your shrub clusters or plant patches, if any.
Distribute small amounts of fertilizer around your garden, nearest to the root parts of these plants, as your last plant care step.
