The question is asked: Which kind of herbs can be grown in pots? After doing my own research on growing herbs in pots, I found out, and would like to share with you today that: All herbs can be grown in pots but some herbs do better than others.
An herb that definitely has to be potted is mint or it will spread around the patch.
Over all it is fairly easy to maintain any plant grown indoors.
Remember to replant annuals each year and move perennials outdoors when needed.
Herbs can be used as often as you want, you can also crop them infrequently.
Herbs can be used fresh or dried; also clipping plants promotes new growth.
This rule also applies to herbs, use them when cooking, preserve them for families and offer them as gifts.
The main advantages of growing herbs in pots are that they are available fresh for use all year round; they also provide convenient access when cooking.
Since they are in pots they are portable, they also add decoration to the home.
Year round herbs can either stay in the house all year, but this is not the same for herbs like bay, ground ivy and lemon grass which are better grown outside in mild climates and indoors when the temperatures drops they are type perennial herbs which do better if they were to be placed outside during the summer.
Mint, chives and tarragon however, need not be moved they are another kind of perennial herbs which goes into a rest period during the winter season and returns in the spring.
An herb is a plant that is valued for flavor, scent, or other qualities.
Herbs are used in cooking, as medicines, and for spiritual purposes.
Herbs though most commonly grown in outdoor gardens can also be grown in pots or containers, vases or boxes.
Growing your own herbs in pots will save you money, add fresh flavors to your meals, beauty and aroma to your surroundings, and provide you with a strong sense of attainment and peace.
