- 1). Add fuel to the hopper or clean any obstructions from the hopper or feeder if the stove won't feed pellets for burning. Drain the fuel and inspect more closely if the other methods don't help.
- 2). Reduce the feed rate from the hopper if you notice smoke coming out of the oven when in use. Inspect the gasket and have any leaks repaired to restore a normal draft.
- 3). Increase the feed rate or change to higher quality pellets if the heat output from the oven is low.
- 4). Inspect the flue for blockages and reduce the feed rate if the pellets end up only partially burned.
- 5). Unblock the flue to help increase your draft, or add more fuel to the stove if the fire won't stay lit.
