- 1). Find and keep any ability-modifying items you come across on your quest. All ability-modifying items contain added effects that either add to or take away from the following stats: INT, CHR, PER, LK, STR, END or AGL.
- 2). Select the item in your Pip-Boy menu, then press the "X" button to use the item on yourself. The item will provide a temporary ability adjustment, affecting your core stat and related skills.
- 3). Collect bobble-heads to permanently increase your stats. A bobble-head exists in the game for each core stat and each skill. The bobble-head, when found, will automatically add one point to your core stat and 10 points to your skill.
