Why should you grow with hydroponics?

So before I go off on explaining the benefits of hydroponics, let me explain a little bit about what hydroponic growth is. To simplify it, hydroponic growth is soilless plant growth which means there are now technologies which allow us to control the growth of our plants. We also get to control the health of the plants, how much nutrients they get, how much light they get and prevent them from obtaining diseases and you are also able to do this all year round, not just when a certain plant is in season. Not only this, but you can grow indoors. So basically, hydroponic growth is a controlled plant growth which eliminates the use of soil.

What makes hydroponic growth so much better is knowing what you are putting into your plants, this means if there is something wrong with your plants 9 times out of 10 you are going to know what is missing and are able to add it. Whereas with soil it would be impossible to decipher which nutrients the plants needed.

Hydroponic growth makes it so much easier, think about this... You pre mix your nutrients with exactly the right amount of elements you need. This means when you add it to the water that feeds the plants, you can relax in the knowledge that you have gave them all the elements they need to not only survive but grow healthily and to the highest standard. Not only this but when growing with hydroponics you are able to grow your plants up to 10 times faster and can even grow them a lot larger than the average plant grown in soil, this is because the roots do not need to spend a large amount of time growing in the soil in order to collect water and nutrients. They are getting the nutrients in water sprayed onto the roots so this will eliminate the massive amount of time it takes the roots to grow and the smaller roots will actually take in a lot more of the nutrients. Essentially this is creating the perfect plant.

Hydroponics can be used all over the world, so this solves the problem of only being able to grow things in certain climates. Now that is not the case and you are able to grow anywhere at any time. As long as you have the correct hydroponic equipment you can control temperature which means you are able to grow without being in a hot climate, you control water being exposed to the plants without having the be in a rainy climate and you can save your plants from being destroyed by disease, bugs, pesticides and extreme weather conditions by growing indoors without soil.

So that is just a few of the advantages of growing with hydroponics, you also eliminate masses of land being used by farmers. This is why many people are turning to hydroponics as it is not only better for the plants but you can make money all year round by selling out of season produce.
