Watch for the first signs of growth in early spring. You'll see tiny green and brown leaf buds, followed by flower buds at the tips of the branches. - 2

Smell the fragrance of prolific pink or white apple blossoms. Apple trees blossom in mid- to late May. Occasionally they are damaged by late spring frosts, reducing their harvest. - 3). Watch small, hard apples grow through the summer.
