How to Dress Like a Baby for Halloween

    • 1). Wear a pair of footed pajamas (see Resources). If you can’t find affordable footed pajamas, wear a set of pajamas–with the top and bottoms.

    • 2). Tie on a bib. Choose an adult-sized bib with a cute baby pattern (see Resources). Wear the bib over the footy pajamas.

    • 3). Sport an adult-sized bonnet (see Resources). Wear the bonnet on your head, whether you are a boy or a girl. Choose a blue one if you are a boy and a pink one if you are a girl, or go with a neutral white.

    • 4). Slip on shoes or slippers. Wear your tennis shoes or slippers over the footed pajamas. Search for character slippers, such as Elmo, Cookie Monster or Superman to enhance the look of your costume.

    • 5). Carry a blanket, doll, teddy bear, and/or rattle. Choose a blanket theme or color to go with your gender, such as pink or Barbie for a girl and blue or superheroes for a boy. The blanket can be new or used.

    • 6). Suck on a pacifier. Purchase a ring pop, which resembles a pacifier and would fit an adult-sized mouth. Or suck on an actual pacifier.

    • 7). Fill a clear bottle with apple juice, milk, or water and carry it with you. Drink out of it if you get thirsty.
