Bible study games reinforce the lessons that women learn during Bible study and they add humor to the meetings. When developing the games, you should keep everone's interests in mind and make sure that you create games which will improve their knowledge of Biblical truths. If you need ideas on creating games, visit your local Christian bookstore and find activity books for adult Bible studies. - One good idea is to play a game in which each group member has to match the correct Scriptures that fit the best with certain social issues. On some index cards write down twenty social issues and hand each one out to the group members. Then give each of them a Bible and let them write down five Scriptures which give the best solution to each social issue. The members will be timed for 15 minutes and then you'll judge each person's answers. The winners with the best answers will receive a Christian non-fiction book
- If you're holding a Bible study for single women, you can teach them realistic expectations about marriage by having a marriage trivia game with them. On a dry-erase board, write down 10 common beliefs that single women often believe about marriage, then invite each member to stand in front of the group and answer if that particular belief is true or false. If the answer is false, mention why this belief is false. The winners who get at least five answers right will get to choose the next game.
- If you're looking for new ways to study the Bible together, you can play a game where you have each group member write down five new ideas for conducting the Bible study. Then each group member will stand up and give a detailed description of all five ideas. You and the pastor will judge each person's ideas and the winners will receive a study Bible and a Bible commentary.
