- 1). Open up the copying program on your computer and insert the CD you wish to copy into your CD disc drive. The program should automatically recognize it.
- 2). Click on the "Copy CD" option which will bring you to the next page in the process. On this page you can choose the advanced options in order to ensure a quality CD copy. The burner's best output option for a blank recordable CD (CD-R) is 192 kilobits per second (kbps). Choose that option.
- 3). Click "Begin Copy" and the program will now back up your disc to the computer. This should take about five minutes depending on the speed of your CD drive. Once this is finished it will automatically pop out the disc and ask you to insert a blank CD-R to record the copy.
- 4). Place the blank CD-R into the drive and shut it. Your program should automatically check to make sure it is blank and afterwards will begin the process of burning/copying the CD to the blank CD-R. This process should take about 10 minutes depending on the speed of your CD burner drive. Once it is finished it will pop out and you may listen to it right away.
