Homemade Weed Killer With Beer

Beer for the Lawn, Garden and Flowers

    • After a party or a social gathering of friends, save the beer cans instead of throwing them away. A bucket can be used to collect the remnants of beer poured from the cans. When the beer is allowed to sit in the bucket for several days, its alcohol evaporates and the beer itself will be derived from the carbonation.

The flat beer is poured over the plants and flowers that have weeds by them. The beer will give the plants more nutrients and not allow the weeds to grow. After the beer is poured on the plants, the weeds are pulled. In a few days, the beer process is repeated.

This method also can be used on the lawn to encourage grass growth as well as to keep weeds away.
