I started doing gardening because I have been hearing so many good things about it. A lot of my friends were into it, so it did not take me long to become convinced that it was something that I ought to try.

Even if you provide everything that will be needed by plants in order to grow, if the soil type that you have is not suited for that plant then it won't do you any good at all.

· Do you have an ideal garden that you have always dreamed of and wanted? Most likely, you will never have that. That's because you can't predict how plants will grow. There's a big if to that though, which is if you have a lot of money, then you can get any garden that you want.

· If you don't have tons of money to spend on it then just accept the fact that your garden will always be a work in progress. There is always something there that you would like to add on or maybe alter. That's not a bad thing, because it means you will always have something to do.

· Light is another important factor that would come next to soil and water that you should consider when you are gardening. Light is needed by plants in order to create its food so you should know about the light requirements of your plants just as what it needs from the soil.

· Gardening can be a chore or a hobby. It totally depends on your attitude towards it. You should see it as something that you do because you like it, and not as another task.

If you want to try gardening then you should realize these things very early on. It could help in changing your attitude towards this beneficial activity.
