Living in South Florida, I have learned to become accustomed to unique and creative styles of foods.
Above all of the things that South Florida has shown me, their unmatched dining quality and originality is by the far most incredible.
All of my friends who have flown in to visit me have all agreed, you just can't get more for your money! When I heard about the new Caesar taco from a few locals, I had no idea what I should be expecting.
I mean, really, a Caesar taco? What does that even mean? To say the least, I was unsure about how I would react to this new combination.
I had yet to try something from South Florida that I didn't like though, and I couldn't imagine that this would break that streak! So of course, I had to go for it.
I was so impressed by the amount of thought that went into each and every component of this taco, I will be dining on it for as long as I possibly can.
The competition can't possibly get anywhere when South Florida keeps showing them up with such fantastic entrees! If you've ever had any Caesar style, then you can probably get a pretty good beginning gist of what is going on with this taco.
The most widely used meat in this style is chicken.
South Florida's chicken is made fresh every day, as is the rest of their ingredients.
They don't even stop at chicken, you have another healthier option! You can add chicken breast to your taco; the meat is often whiter and definitely harbors much less fat! Many of my friends are vegetarians, and I myself have even begun to consider it.
My friends often talk about how awful of a feeling it is to feel like an inconvenience when you go to an establishment and they can't provide you with a vegetarian option.
This is never the case in a South Florida taco store.
You can either choose to have black and/or brown beans with a light guacamole, or you can choose a black bean hummus substitute.
My friends say they have never experienced such openness and tastefulness! For those who do indeed eat meat, don't worry, there are options that extend much further than just the aforementioned chicken and chicken breast.
South Florida also includes protein such as organic steak and pork.
As well as these two delicious items, there is a combination of black beans and bacon which comes highly appraised by all carnivores! Tacos almost always require lettuce.
Such a fresh take on something that is generally served with hot ingredients, is a nice cooling-down when eating the Caesar taco.
Whether you want shredded lettuce or romaine lettuce is entirely up to you, but I assure you that no matter your ultimate decision, you will be quite pleased with your veggie ingredients.
South Florida is nice enough to give you a pretty specific idea of how your burrito/taco is supposed to go.
Often they recommend all the necessary ingredients, but ultimately allow you to get as creative as you like.
In addition the the recommended list of ingredients for the Caesar taco, I decided to add fresh local tomatoes.
Not only were they delectable and juicy, but I was supporting local farming! Shredded cheese is such a delicacy that it is often hard to pick which type to put onto your taco.
With the Caesar taco, the recommended, and highly suggested by all who dine on the Caesar taco, is the Parmesan cheese.
The unique and one-of-a-kind taste of Parmesan cheese follows suit with the rest of the fresh ingredients in this taco! Your next best bet with the Caesar taco is South Florida's delicious croutons.
These croutons are flavored with garlic and butter, so you can be sure to enjoy every bite of your taco.
I know what you're thinking, croutons? On a taco? But I assure you, South Florida does not joke around with combinations and tastes like these!
