Hydroponic Drip Irrigation System made easy, efficient and affordable

Hydroponic drip systems are commonly used for the duration of crop or plant growth. They provide a lot of aeration for the

reason that the roots of the crops or plants are not entirely submerged in water, drying out the plant is at a minimal. Plus,

water going back to its reservoir adds additional aeration. They operate and run smoothly when you know your tubing, piping,

connector’s very well. Here’s a brief and simple description of a drip system: Irrigation system in most fields. Where the

ready-made nutrient solution is dripped accordingly into the very base of your plant and then suddenly goes through the grow

media, into the roots and finally, goes back to the reservoir. Minutes later, it will be used again.
Drip systems are an essential part of Hydroponic systems they insure high survival rate. They also serve as gateways for

nutrients to come in and provide proper nutrition for the thriving plant. You also need to see to it that there’s a timing

mechanism in your drip system. A good interval is on for one whole hour and off for an hour. Drip timing can also be

experimented it depends on how you would like your plants to grow.
Hydroponic drip system or watering systems are categorized into two: the first one is recovery and the second one is

non-recovery. These two types of dripping system are known to be used in different Hydroponic Systems. Let’s go through the

two types of dripping system. 1. Recovery: this system uses a timer and a pump to control the water and nutrient solution so

it can drip into the roots of the plants. Non used minerals will be stored in the reservoir for future use. 2. Non-recovery:

This drip system is very much the same with first one. The only difference is the solution gathered in the process will not

be used again.

A complete Hydroponic system is also susceptible to human error, when you fail to notice that there’s a stoppage of the pump

filter it may result in the sudden death of your plants. Always make sure that you choose the best dripping system for your

Hydroponics.
To deliver nutrients by hand to a Hydroponic system is clearly not possible for the rest of us using this type gardening

system, so a possible and more efficient option is a Hydroponic drip irrigation system. A Hydroponic drip system is very much

effective at discharging water straight into the plant’s roots and loses not much nutrient solution due to evaporation. Water

will fall directly onto the roots of the plants or crops and the leaves of the plants are safe from fungi and other plant

diseases.
