- 1). Navigate to the Education section of your resume within the word processing software.
- 2). Place your cursor under the education header and in front of the previous education entry. Push the return button once to create space for your new degree entry. There should be one full single space between each education entry.
- 3). Add your most recent degree completed or in progress to the top of your resume. Include the name of the institution, degree earning or obtained and completion or projected completion date.
- 4). Proofread your resume. It pays off to double check and make sure that you spelled the names of the degree and institution correctly.
- 5). Save the document by clicking the "Save" button on the toolbar of the word processing software.
