Golden Eagle Ranch RV Park, Ft. Carson, Colorado (2 of 2)

This is the Golden Eagle Ranch RV Park and Campground located in Ft. Carson, Colorado. We were there for two nights and were very pleased with our surroundings, although the signs at the dumpster warning of bears was a tiny bit unnerving. My wife and I walked up from our campsite to the remote section of the campground and were treated to some really pretty scenery. I would have liked to have seen the area for tents a little less overgrown, but overall it was nice.

This was our first outing pulling a camping trailer, so I may not be the best authority on what constitutes a good campground, but it was pretty easy to maneuver in and out of our site and the park. There were supposed to be four lakes there, but I only ventured to one (pictured). I'm enclosing another picture of the same lake at a different angle. Summarily, if I visited the area again, I would stay at The Golden Eagle again.
