- 1). Hold the open-ended loop at one end with the needle-nose pliers. Grasp the opposite end with the jewelry pliers. Roll the end in a circular motion towards you to make a closed-loop. Squeeze the overlapped parts of the loop together with the needle-nose pliers to close the loop.
- 2). Measure your wrist with a tape measure. Do not adjust the measurement for slack because the clasps add length to the bracelet. For example, the length equals seven inches.
- 3). Insert the bracelet wire into the holes of the waxed beads. Do not cut the wire from the spool. Continue until the length of the inserted waxed beads equal the length of your wrist. For example, the length of the inserted waxed beads equals seven inches.
- 4). Insert the bracelet wire into the hole of a sofit. Insert the bracelet wire into the hole of the lobster clasp and tie it three times to the lobster clasp.
- 5). Feed the excess wire from the loop back into the sofit. Move the sofit towards the lobster clasp and over the knot in the wire. Squeeze the sofit shut over the knot, using the jewelry pliers. The squeezed sofit permanently secures the knot and wire in place.
- 6). Shift the waxed beads towards the lobster clasp. Feed the beads over the wire and the excess wire. Continue until the beads are flush next to the lobster clasp.
- 7). Tie the closed loop made in Step 1 to the end of the waxed beads. The closed loop should be tied on the opposite end from the lobster clasp. Tie the wire onto the closed loop three times. Leave a 1/4-inch of slack from the end of the waxed beads to the closed loop. The slack gives the beads a little room to move while wearing them. You now made your waxed bead braclet.
