How to Remove Nicotine Smell From Rubber

    • 1). Pour 2½ cups of white vinegar into a spray bottle, and add in ¼ cup of baking soda. Tightly close the spray bottle and shake vigorously.

    • 2). Spray the rubber surface with your mixture immediately after shaking so you get white vinegar and baking soda mixed in your spray. Apply a substantial amount and let it sit atop your rubber for 30 minutes.

    • 3). Pour a cup of water into another spray bottle and spray down the rubber area, wiping away your baking soda and vinegar solution with a clean rag or sponge.

    • 4). Sprinkle the rubber surface with some baking soda. If the surface is vertical, mix a little baking soda with water to make a paste and apply to your surface. Let it sit on rubber for seven hours or overnight. Use spray bottle with water to wipe off the rubber surface.
