It is about time! The big food manufacturers are finally starting to listen to their customers.
Campbell's has taken MSG out of the Select Harvest soups.
I know that I have written articles, submitted blogs and web pages detailing the harmful effects that MSG has been noted to have on many people.
I am not going to say that my articles, by themselves have contributed to this huge move by Campbell's Soups but I will say that the plethora of articles, web sites and blogs that have hit the internet in recent years may very well have had a huge influence.
I am convinced from personal experience that MSG is a cause of migraine headaches.
Think of it, a company that would put a cheap additive like MSG in their products just to enhance the flavor while so much evidence has been published recently regarding the harmful effects of MSG, truly should be ashamed of themselves.
If any of you have had migraine headaches, you know what I am talking about.
They are so severe sometimes they can make a person feel suicidal.
And to think that a food manufacturer would knowingly put this in their food just to increase profit a bit is to me, unthinkable.
If they need this harmful food additive I think that should tell us something about the quality of products they are using.
Let me salute with the highest regard everyone who has been promoting the truth about MSG.
I need to give special thanks to Dr.
Russell Blaylock with his landmark book on the subject titled "Excitoxins" and Dr.
Teresa Latendress who first made me aware of the harmful effects of MSG.
That for many people it is a direct link to migraine headaches.
One more brand of soup that deserves to be mentioned is Progresso Lentil soup, which also does not contain MSG.
Conclusion I am sure that my articles and web pages had very little to do with this great step taken by Campbell's but I am very glad and proud to have been a part in the drive for good health by helping to expose the effects of MSG.
Let us all give Campbell's Select Harvest Soups a big hand and nod of appreciation.
My appreciation will be shown to Campbell's buy buying their products, and often.
