How to Plant Wheatgrass Inside Your House

    • 1). Put 3 cups of wheatgrass sprouting seed in a bowl. Add 6 cups of water to the bowl. Soak the seeds overnight.

    • 2). Fill your seed starter tray with your potting mix. Spray enough water over the soil to moisten it.

    • 3). Drain the water from your seeds. Spread them evenly over the soil in your tray so that the seeds do not overlap. Add enough soil over the seeds to just barely cover them.

    • 4). Spray water over the seeds to dampen them. Place the cover over the tray to increase humidity around your seeds. Place them in an area where they will not get direct sunlight.

    • 5). Water your wheatgrass tray twice a day. Remove the lid once your wheatgrass reaches 2 inches in height. Harvest your wheatgrass when the sprouts are about 6 inches high by cutting them 2 inches above the soil. Continue to water your tray to get more harvests.
