How to Add a URL to an Image on Pinterest

Pinterest is one popular site where people can share their images.
Whether you're using the site for personal or business reasons, there's no limit to the number of photos you can share even on a daily basis.
The best part of photo sharing on Pinterest is you can direct visitors to your personal or business website.
This is because you can add a URL to an image you share on the site.
This is easy to do and should be done every time you're sharing an image from your blog post or from anywhere on the web.
Normally when you repin an image, the url that's automatically stored on Pinterest is that of the website where you got the photo.
So when you repin an image from your own site, the url will be saved and anybody who clicks on that image will then be brought to your website.
If you upload a photo from your computer, however, there's no option to include a website url.
You can do this later when you edit the image on Pinterest.
To edit an image and add your url, first go to your boards.
Click the down arrow beside your name on the top right corner of your home page.
Select Your Boards on the dropdown list.
On the next page, choose the board where your image is located.
Click on it and select the image.
Once you've chosen the image, hover your mouse over it and click on the Edit link.
You can then proceed with changing the existing url, next to Source.
You may also change your description and board title.
Then click Save Changes when you're done.
Adding a url to your images is one effective way of linking your blog or website to your Pinterest account.
By doing so, you have a greater chance of letting other users know more about you and what you do.
If you're running a business of any type, it is most ideal to include a URL in the images you pin or repin on Pinterest.
You can even add a price if you're selling items on the site.
This will make it easy for your existing and potential customers to learn more about your offerings.
