How to Get to Shea Stadium From Manhattan

    • 1). Reach the stadium via subway by connecting to the "7" train from the Grand Central Station, Times Square/42nd St. or 42nd St/Bryant Park station. From there, take the "7" to the Willets Point/Shea Stadium stop.

    • 2). Take the commuter rail to Shea stadium by riding any of Manhattan's west side trains to Penn Station. Take the Long Island Rail Road out of Penn Station to the Shea Stadium Stop. Coming from the east you will need to take a train to Grand Central and the 42nd St. shuttle from there to the Times Square and 42nd St. station; then take the 1,2, or 3 train to the Penn Station stop.

    • 3). Drive to Shea Stadium by taking the Brooklyn bridge towards the Kennedy and La Guaria airports, then take the Cadman W heading towards Interstate 278. You will take a right on Prospect St. followed by a right on Pearl St. and a left on Sands.

    • 4). Take Interstate 278 East for a little over 7 miles before taking exit 42. Continue down the Brooklyn/Queens Expressway towards Grand Central Parkway East taking terminals towards Grand Central E.Take exit 95 to Shea Stadium. Take 126th St. to the right and turn right onto Roosevelt Ave. Shea Stadium will be on your right.
